India takes on Pakistan at the start of their ICC T20 World Cup campaign in Melbourne on October 23. The match starts at 1:30 pm IST, which is 7:00 pm local time. The super 12 round begins on October 22 with the first match between Australia and New Zealand, the finalists of last year’s T20 World Cup. The final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be played on November 13.
India and Pakistan have met three times in Pakistan since the T20 World Cup 2021. Pakistan has emerged victorious on two occasions while India has only once. Overall, in 11 T20Is, India won 8 and Pakistan three. This IND vs PAK game has had a huge build up with the expectations of the Indian team to vindicate their loss in the Asian Cup and T20 World Cup.
The captains of both teams said that their team is ready for this delicious clash. However, Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma have not spoken much about the tension of the match.
