Chetan Sharma’s fate hangs in the balance, Debasish Mohanty’s term to end soon as BCCI likely to change selection panel: reports

Under the new BCCI president, Roger Binny, there are chances for changes to the options panel. BCCI is ready to change the election panel after the conclusion of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The billion people can hope that the workforce will produce greater efficiency this time after the disastrous ICC T20 World Cup 2021 .

The new president of BCCI is someone who can bring change to Indian Cricket and ensure that the workforce crosses the finish line. It would be interesting to see how the team performs under Chetan Sharma’s selection panel. The workforce has shown potential and a hunger for fulfillment, which is invaluable at T20 Cricket.

Chetan Sharma will be included in the Cricket Advisory Committee

A senior BCCI official made a fascinating claim about Chetan Sharma, “A lot will depend on how India does in the T20 World Cup. There aren’t too many people who are very proud of Chetan in the meantime. But he will stay until BCCI selects the new Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).”a BCCI official mentioned to PTI.

Debashish Mohanty time to end quickly

A senior BCCI official made a powerful claim about Debashish Mohanty, “The rule that was relevant with Abbey Kuruvilla can even apply to Debu Mohanty. Debu was listed by the COA on the junior panel in early 2019 and had served two years until 2021 before being promoted to senior panel after Devang Gandhi served his term.” mentioned a BCCI official informed to the PTI.

Clearly Roger Binny wants a whole new unit on his tenure similar to the one Sourav Ganguly had. BCCI is aware that they are fading in ICC tournaments. Profitable bilateral collection is not doing the workforce any good.
